At Trans Asia Integrated Services Ltd, we offer an exciting and empowering learning experience in working with metals. As a welder, you have the power to transform some of the toughest materials in the world into the patterns and objects you envision, all while witnessing the sparks fly and feeling the intense heat. Our courses cover four main types of welding, each providing unique skills and expertise to aspiring welders:
Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), commonly known as Metal Inert Gas (MIG), is a welding technique used in the automotive sector for repairing car exhausts as well as in the construction of homes and structures. It warms the two metals to be connected by passing a shielding gas down the wire electrode.
Course Duration: 4 weeks Course Fee: $99
Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), commonly known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, is an arc welding technology that produces welds with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. TIG is powered by an external gas source, such as argon or helium. This is a far more time-consuming technique than the other forms of welding.
Course Duration: 4 weeks Course Fee: $99
Flux-cored arc welding is a semi-automatic or automatic arc welding process where the electrode is a hollow tube filled with flux that is fed through the weld gun and into the weld pool. This arc welding is comparable to MIG welding because both employ continuous wire and power supply.
Course Duration: 4 weeks Course Fee: $99
