Job Overview:

As a scaffolder at Trans Asia Integrated Services Ltd, you will play a vital role in installing scaffolding around structures, buildings undergoing construction, renovation, or demolition. It is an outdoor job that requires working in various weather conditions and at elevated heights. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying potential hazards and ensuring a safe working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing and preplanning scaffolding, considering weight restrictions, scaffold type, fall prevention measures, tie-offs, and supports.

• Laying scaffolding planks (battens) for safe passage of workers.

• Erecting scaffolding poles (standards) and connecting horizontal tubes (ledgers) with couplers.

• Conducting thorough checks on scaffolding for safe usage.

• Installing guard railings and safety nets for heightened safety.

• Placing foundation plates at regular intervals to secure upright poles.

• Adhering to all local, state, federal, manufacturer, and institutional guidelines while using scaffolds.

• Dismantling scaffolding after its use.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or relevant degree.

• Proven experience as a scaffolder, with a minimum of 2 years in the field.

• 'Safety first' attitude and strong mechanical skills are a must.

• Comfortable with working at heights and physically fit.

• Basic arithmetic skills.

Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a good sense of balance with strong hand-eye coordination.
