Acrylic
Acrylic paints are made with premium materials, offering a thick, adhesive consistency. They dry through water evaporation, resulting in durable paint that can expand and contract with temperature changes, making it ideal for exterior projects.

Oil-Based
Oil-based paints, although less commonly used due to health regulations, are suitable for outdoor use with adequate ventilation. They are created using oils, providing a strong finish but are challenging to clean.

Latex
Latex paints, being water-based, are easy to apply and clean compared to other exterior paint types. They dry quickly and can expand and contract with varying temperatures.

The finish of exterior paint influences how it appears when it is dry. There are three types of painting finishes for better painting trim: flat or matte finish, satin finish, semi-gloss and glossy finish. Let’s get to know some about them.
Flat or Matte Finish
This finish offers a solid, non-reflective appearance, making it ideal for older houses, effectively concealing imperfections. Suitable for exterior sidings.
Satin Finish
Satin finish provides a medium sheen, making it suitable for well-maintained wood or cement siding. It strikes a balance between dull and shiny.
Semi-Glossy and Glossy Finish
Glossy finish paints are highly durable and easy to clean. They offer a sheen more pronounced than satin finish, making them ideal for outdoor use, being sturdy and relatively water-resistant.
A certificate will be provided upon successful course completion, and a performance certificate will be awarded after a thorough assessment.
